It started with a tragedy in 1898. A murder had taken place where the Chisholm Trail crosses the North Canadian River, present day NW 10th Street. To this day the true identity of the spirit that haunts the bridge is a mystery and that crossing of the river became known as “Dead Man’s Crossing”.

Stories of ghostly hitchhikers have existed for as long as we have had paths to travel. You already know the story; On a dark and stormy night you spot a lone hitchhiker and offer them a ride. They are quiet and say very little and just as you pull up to their destination, they disappear.

New in 2026! The Specter Syndicate is a team of Paranormal Investigators that have unlocked the ability to enter what they call the “Ghost Realm”. These investigators believe that by entering the Ghost Realm we can help put spirits to rest so they quit haunting the living. The Specter Syndicate has invited YOU to join their team of investigators and help them put to rest a spirit that passed away in Circus Disaster in the 1930s. What could go wrong with sending barely trained civilians into the Ghost Realm?
Many spirits inhabit Dead Man’s Crossing, but some are more dangerous than others. The Killer Experience at Dead Man’s Crossing is an opportunity players have to take part in an even scarier variation of the attraction where our Killers which haunt Dead Man’s Crossing will actively seek and hunt those that opt in for the experience. The Killers will attempt to mark you for death as you explore the attraction. Will you make it through the experience unscathed?
It is a Dark and Stormy Halloween Night (of course) and the weatherman is recommending taking shelter immediately. You run to the nearest house only to find the residents seemingly… gone. Something terrible has happened. As you investigate the scene you discover a mysterious tunnel. With a large tornado barreling down on the house, you have no choice but to enter the creepy tunnel to save yourself. In the darkness of the sewers, you hear it…the crackle of electricity mixed with screams. Welcome to Electro-Mania!
Dead Man’s Crossing is an indoor attraction with a covered waiting area. In the event of bad weather, the attraction will be open, rain or shine.
If you have purchased your ticket online in advance, proceed to the Ticketing Entrance on the North side of the building facing 8th Street. Inside you will redeem your ticket for that evening’s-colored wristband. To shorten the amount of time spent standing in a queue you will be assigned a boarding group which will give you a rough idea of when you will enter the attraction. Queue Entertainment and a new stage show production will keep you entertained while you wait.
Free Parking in the lots on the West side of the building. The attraction is also easily accessible by take the Streetcar (https://www.embarkok.com/streetcar) and exiting at the Automobile Alley Stop,
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Dead Man’s Crossing is not recommended for children under the age of 12, but you know your kid’s fear tolerance.

Allow us to make it an extra memorable experience for your “friend” or “loved one”. We will collaborate in advance and learn about the victim from you. As they traverse the attraction, our Killers will make sure their trip is extra special.
The Nightmare Pass includes one VIP Instant Access Entry ticket for the victim and other goodies. Anyone that wants to accompany the victim through the attraction will need to have a VIP Instant Access Ticket. Please follow any instructions sent via the follow-up email.
All sales are final, and no refunds will be given. However, if you are unable to attend on the night for which you purchased your ticket, you may use it on any other night of the same season (restrictions apply).

Couldn’t find a more creative and exciting haunted house experience! The props and actors are so well done, the story is well thought out and engaging. It has you scared to turn every corner!
